Okay, so SecuROM sucks, and my computer's CD drive got F'ed up because of it. So, I had to uninstall the Sims expansion packs that had SecuROM, so that I could continue on my one remaining CD/DVD drive. That means that all of my Sims are gone. Split. Out of here. Deceased.
Goodbye Legacy Sims.
Once I get all of my custom content back (since as a final "F-you!", EA Games deletes your entire Downloads folder whenever you uninstall something...good-bye 4 years worth of downloads), I will try again. But first, I will need to redo my Final Fantasy Sims. Although, perhaps I will do Legacy first, since I'm still collecting all of the custom content again. Be prepared for sporadic updates.
Massage school is getting intense, and I have very little time on my hands to play video games (I work full time, too).

College life is...
Last time we saw the Legacy brothers, they had just gotten into college and started working hard (or not). But they're also looking for love, and Brandon knows he must find a lovely lady to bring home to Mom and Dad Legacy. Will he capture Lani's heart?
Brandon finally managed to sit and talk with Lani over lunch. She doesn't seem impressed by Brandon's eating habits.
But one night, on the couch...something magical happens. Lani actually lets Brandon touch her! Is love in the air yet??
Things start to heat up between Lani and Brandon. And they aren't the only ones!
It seems Bryan and Jora like each other, too.
And this is how Brandon reacts to Lani's kissing....apparently she needs some practice.
Aren't they sweet together?
And apparently, Lani isn't Brandon's only admirer.
Brandon, Bryan, Lani, and Jora make it out of their freshman year. As a reward, they decide to move in together to get out of the dorms and out on their own. More privacy! Is that a good thing?
They move into two cute bungalows right next to one another. They are small, but the yard is large and private.
The four have a lot of free time (school isn't too hard yet), and like to spend it playing Mahjong.
Lani and Jora now have more time and opportunity to get to know one another.
Although that may not be a good thing...
Meanwhile, Brandon and Bryan are clueless about their ladies...
But it's Brandon who gets to Lani first!
Eventually, Jora gets some of Lani, too!!!!
And Bryan gets in on it, too (finally).
However...
Jora was not discreet, however, and Lani finds her in bed with Bryan. Even though Lani has no room to talk (she was with Brandon, after all), she still gets really angry.
So angry, she slaps Jora! Bryan, meanwhile, has wandered off, clueless as to why Lani barged in on them and started screaming at his girl (Women...right?)
The slap quickly escalates into a full out fight!
Lani manages to win. She's been working out, and Jora hadn't noticed. You can see how unconcerned Bryan is...
Can the girls keep their problems from their boyfriends? Can Jora and Lani stand living in the same house together, even after all of this? Find out next time!!

College 101
Last time, Brandon and Bryan were getting ready to go to college. Now, they've finally arrived! They both managed to get into the same college, and into the same dorm.
Two lovely ladies have also moved in to the dorm, and Brandon and Bryan have high hopes for the year!
Here they are, at the dorm, fresh off the taxi. The two lovelies are Lani, the brunette, and Jora, the blonde. Luckily for Brandon and Bryan, they are living in the same dorm! Isn't college awesome?!? This is also before Brandon decided to get a new haircut.
Brandon at first had some hard times making friends. This lady seems determined to ignore him.
Brandon turns to studying to alleviate boredom. He knows his family is counting on him to get a good education, and the pressure is on.
Lani seems pretty upitty, and Brandon isn't sure he will be able to make friends with such a classy and pretty lady.
Lunch times are dull, because Brandon only has his brother to talk to...and he'd much prefer lovelier company...
Bryan on the other hand, is having a grand old time. There's less pressure from the Family Legacy to do well, since he's not the Heir. He has the time to cut loose a little more.
Jora, too, seems a little out of place, and Bryan is starting to notice.
Luckily for her, Bryan is a nice guy, and she's soon joining in.
Bryan and Jora start talking, and find they have a lot in common.
Brandon, though, is still partying...alone...
Cheerleaders might be interesting though...if you can stop them from cheering long enough to talk to them....
The tension between Lani and Brandon is palpable, however, and Brandon isn't sure he can contain himself. Apparently, Lani also occasionally becomes possessed (you may not be able to see it, but Lani's eyes have gone completely blank).
Brandon becomes obsessed with the lovely Lani, and starts following her everywhere. She doesn't seem to notice...yet.
Even when Lani is exercising, Brandon is there to watch.

The Bumpy Road to College
..We'll have to see more of Leslie later, but now...
Bradon is now an overachiever! He worked really, really hard to get here! Not only does he have an A+ grade point average, but he reached the top of the teen Science career. Now he has scholarships enough to go to college!
And now Bryan is a teen! But he's catching up with his brother, and they plan to go to college together.
Through everyone's hard work, the house has been expanded. Now there are three bedrooms, though they still have to share a bath. It's not too bad, though.
...Ah...teen love. Brandon and Ivy Copur share their first kiss together...love is in the air!
But not all is wonderful! That very night, a robber breaks into their home!
Luckily for the Legacy family, they have an alarm! The alarm goes off and soon summons the police, who gets into a fight with the robber! Everyone wakes up to watch the rukus, though Altair seems pretty upset about it already.
The Law wins this round! The robber is taken into custody, but not before the robber stole their couch. They immediately bought a new one, though no one was very happy about it.
Everyone is pretty cut up about losing their couch. This was supposed to be a nice neighborhood!

Growing Up Legacy
...When last we left the Legacy family, Ariadne had just given birth to their second child, Bryan.
While Ariadne and Altair were oohing over their new baby, Brandon quietly grew up into a child!
With the extra hands, the house soon gets back into order. Ariadne is still not pregnant (thankfully), and so she has more energy to help around the house. Altair got a promotion, and he therefore has some more time, too. Peace at last!
Bryan is now a toddler! And he's even more of a handful than Brandon was! Everyone is so busy, they don't have time to spend teaching Bryan the things he needs to know as a toddler. The lack of attention makes him...difficult...
Winter comes, and with it, snow. And...
Brandon's birthday! He's now a teenager and has to think about starting college. But first, there is so much for him to do!!
With Brandon helping out, Bryan finally grows up to be a child!
Weekends are the best for the family, and Altair and Bryan spend some outdoor time together with a snowball fight!
The air might be cold, but Brandon is heating up! Here he is, chatting up Ivy Copur, whom he seems to have a thing for...but does she reciprocate?
Not only does Brandon have to balance school and his (budding) love-life, but he has to go to work, too! The family needs the extra money, and if he does well, he'll get more money for college.
Brandon feels a little irritated, though, when the family uses his extra money to hire a maid!
And what do you know? Altair now has two ladies other than Ariadne around. This is Leslie, who lives down the street. But Leslie isn't who she seems to be...

Parenting 101
Where we left off...Ariadne and Altair had moved into their "dream" home, which was a teeny cottage on a huge plot of land. Ariadne, being a Knowledge Sim, got a job as a Test Subject, but quickly moved up in ranks. Altair wanted to become a Rock God, so he had to start down low as a Record Store Clerk. He had some problems finding a job at first, but thankfully, eventually found one...
...just before Ariadne became pregnant...
Luckily, they had enough money to build an addition onto the house. It not only allowed them to have room for an easel for Altair (to increase his Creativity, which is necessary for becoming a Rock God) but it also gave them room for the baby.
Ariadne is tired all the time, and needs to sleep a lot. And eat a lot. And try not to do both at the same time.
Soon enough, however, Ariadne goes into labor! Unfortunately, the birth will not be attended by Altair, who has literally just walked out of view to go to work.
Welcome Brandon Legacy to the world! He has his father's eyes...
Money was tight, but Ariadne was only too happy to go back to work. So, they had to hire a Nanny to watch over Brandon. Let's hope they can afford her!
As you can see, Ariadne is thrilled to be going back to work, finally!
Brandon has become a toddler! And Altair needs some pants! Eep!
But just when they thought they could breathe another sigh of relief, Ariadne became pregnant again!! Oh, no!
Ariadne is so tired (she's sleeping in the bed) that the house has become a disaster area. Dirty dishes, dirty bottles! But she just can't keep up with being pregnant and having a toddler!
Even though she is home for the baby, Ariadne still lets the Nanny come over and do some (minimal) cleaning. Nanny is usually too busy playing chess to become too involved in caring for Brandon, so most of the work still falls to Ariadne, who can barely keep herself fed!
With all the work, Ariadne can't even keep herself clean! She needs a shower!
But the long hours Altair is putting in are paying off, literally. They can now have a seperate bedroom for their new baby.
And here he is! Meet Bryan Legacy, another boy! Unfortunately for Bryan, Brandon is first-born, and will be the Heir.
And join us next time...
...Will Brandon manage to grow up despite having another baby to occupy Ariadne? Will Ariadne get pregnant...AGAIN?! And can Altair manage to chip in with housework once and awhile? Stay tuned...

Dream Home
This is Altair and Ariadne. They have just moved in to their huge plot of land to start their new life!
Because Altair insisted that they have a large plot of land, they only had enough money to have a teeny house built.
They were so poor, they could not afford much. They can't even separate the bathroom from the bedroom! And there is no paint on the walls, just drywall.
Boredom sets in. They can't find jobs they want, so they have to do something to pass the time. Reading and studying seem to be about it...
Altair gets so bored, he often takes bubble baths to pass the time.
Things start to go badly quickly in their "dream home." Here, Altair is fixing a (stone bowl) sink that started spraying water at him!
Altair better be careful! That's a wolf that's digging in his yard! (For non-Simmers: wolves with glowing eyes can turn Sims into werewolves in they get a little too friendly with the wolf)
Well, Altair finally has a job as a musician, and Ariadne has a job as a scientist. But their career plans are derailed when Ariadne finds out she's pregnant!
What will happen next? Will Altair be able to support his pregnant wife? Will Ariadne die a horrible death because she's too tired to eat? Find out next time!
